LOCAL EDITION #3 - Audio Newscast Series by OMB and WMBR

Cambridge, Mass. - This is #3 of WMBR Radio and Open Media Boston’s collaborative local newscast for the Boston/Cambridge MA area. This week’s “Local Edition” includes stories on the Boston Mayor’s election – specifically how the candidates address issues important to immigrants; a report on a new academic study on the fast food industry and its overwhelming reliance on federal welfare assistance; and the Boston City Council passes the “Invest In Boston” ordinance which ranks banks according to their community investments.
